What does it
take to care for the Tigers?
Food:
They eat at least ten pounds of meat per day that must come every
day, rain, snow or hail. They also require other supplements.
Veterinary Care:
These cats need a specialized veterinarian familiar with exotics.
Supplies:
Tigers guard their territory just as they would in the wild. Yeah,
it's cute, but their weight damages their pens when they use them as
lookout posts. Tools for butchering meat and repairing fences, as
well as fencing, plywood, and other hardware are in constant
demand. Remember, your gifts are tax deductible.
Land:
Riverglen Tigers has moved to Mountainburg. This was necessary, but
it incurred a lot of expenses.
Volunteer Effort:
Riverglen has an especially urgent need for volunteer help. Please
contact us for more information.
Adopt a Cat!
Donations of any size are welcome, but please consider adoption.
You can't take your tiger home, but there are benefits to being an
adoptive parent. Please note: all of our regular contributors
receive our periodic hardcopy newsletter.
